The following information has been extracted from our policy manual.
GUIDLELINES
The Society is committed to:
1. making Christian education available to Christian parents.
2. providing a sound academic education integrated with a Christian perspective.
Membership in the Society is limited to those who can discuss and take on issues from a common basis of commitment and
understanding. Therefore, the conditions for membership are:
1 Agreement of the Society's Constitution and By-laws.
2 Support of vision and mission statements and Christian educational philosophy.
3 Payment of the annual membership fee, which is included in the tuition fees for tuition paying families.
4 Be age 18 years or older.
5 Active participation in a local Christian church and leads a Christian lifestyle.
6 Prays for CCS and envisions Christian education as a life-long commitment.
7 Anticipates active involvement through volunteering and involvement on committees.
Membership in the Society confers the following rights:
1 To receive notice of meetings and information on the affairs of the Society.
2 To exercise voting privileges at membership meetings. There is one vote per family membership.
3 To serve on the Board and its committees.
The Society recognizes the following types of memberships:
1 The family membership which includes the husband and wife.
2 The individual membership for single adults, single parents, widows, and widowers.
3 The associate membership for those who cannot agree to the full membership policy and/or by-laws. This type of
membership is at the discretion of the Board.
The Board of Directors has the right to terminate any membership when such actions is felt to be in the best interest of the
Society.
